Make

The Speak To Your Database app for Make asks your questions from any scenario and passes the answer to the next module: an email, a spreadsheet row, a Slack message, a CRM note.

What the app does

  • Ask a question: a question on a connection, answered as structured data (tables and figures), plain text or an email draft. Uses 1 prompt.
  • Get an answer: the answer of a question that was still running when Ask a question returned. Free.
  • List connections, List threads, List workspaces: pick a connection, reuse a conversation, see the prompts left. Free.
  • Make an API call: any call of the API reference with the same connection.

Get an API key

Only workspace owners and admins can create keys. The key is shown once: copy it then.

In Make, add the app's connection and paste the key: Make checks it and shows your workspace.

The app is not in Make's public app list yet. Contact us for the invite link.

Example scenarios

  • Every morning: Ask a question (“Which customer invoices are overdue?”, format Email) → send the email.
  • Every Monday: Ask a question (“What was last week's revenue?”, format JSON) → add the figures to a Google Sheets row.
