Getting Started
Sign in, ask a first question on the sample data, then connect your own Odoo or database.
Quick setup
1. Sign in

2. Your workspace is ready
We create your first workspace for you (called “My company”). Rename it, or add more, any time. It groups your connections, chats, members, and usage.

3. Start free
Your first 20 prompts are free, with no time limit. Every feature is open while you have prompts. Your workspace also includes fictional sample data (a DVD rental database, airline bookings, and a sample Odoo): ask them anything before you connect your own. Buy top-up prompts or choose a plan from the Pricing page when you need more.

4. Connect your data
Odoo: use an Odoo API key (any hosting) or install the STYD Bridge (Odoo.sh or on-premise). After your first Odoo connection, STYD takes you to your first Business Checkup, which starts by itself. PostgreSQL or MySQL: enter a read-only database user. You can also upload documents and spreadsheets in Settings → Documents.

5. Optional for a database: build the AI Guide
Your database works in Chat straight away. “Analyze data” adds table and column descriptions and a database summary, which makes answers more accurate. Your first analysis is included while your workspace has an AI Guide setup left (1 for a workspace without a plan; see the Pricing page for plans); otherwise STYD shows the price in prompts first and asks you to confirm. Odoo needs no analysis.

6. Open Chat
Pick a connection, start a conversation (New chat), and ask your first question.

Before your first question
Check that the connection test passed. For a database, the AI Guide is a bonus, not a prerequisite: you can review it later under Settings → AI Guide.
A chat asks about one connection at a time, so STYD always knows which data it should use. Your uploaded documents can be joined into the same answer.
Example first questions
Show the number of customers created this month
List unpaid invoices grouped by customer
Show monthly revenue for last year
Find active users created in the last 30 days
After your first answer
Review the result, open how it was calculated when needed, and refine your question if you want a more specific answer.
Use follow-up questions to narrow the result
Check how important answers were calculated
Use feedback buttons to improve future results
