Website UI Guide

The STYD interface is organized around workspaces, connections, the AI Guide, chat, usage, and settings.

Main navigation

Before you sign in, the top menu leads to the product pages, Custom AI, Pricing and Docs. Once you are signed in, a left menu takes over. Workspace features need an account, but no plan.

Chat
Ask questions about a connection.
Brief your assistant
Tell STYD what your words and figures mean in your business.
Checkup
The free Business Checkup.
Custom builds
Reports, automations and tools built for your business.
Settings
The workspace hub (below).

Workspace selector

The workspace selector is the workspace name at the top of the left menu. It lets you switch between workspaces, rename the current one (owners and admins) or create a new one.

The selected workspace controls which connections, chats, settings, users, and usage data you are working with.

Core pages

Chat
Choose a connection at the top of the chat and ask questions. Picking another connection starts a new conversation.
Settings
Manage the AI Guide, connections (including Odoo), members, usage, billing and AI apps.
Pricing
Review plans, limits, and subscription access.
Docs
Read product documentation and API guidance.

Settings tabs

The Settings page contains several workspace-level configuration areas. The tabs you see depend on your role, never on your plan.

AI Guide
Review and refine how STYD understands your database — table descriptions, column meaning, and visibility.
Connections
Add, test, edit, or archive database and Odoo connections.
Documents
The documents and spreadsheets of the workspace.
Usage
Review query usage and workspace consumption.
Billing
Manage subscription and plan access (the owner manages it; admins can read it).
Members
Manage workspace users and roles, and their Odoo access on a Bridge connection.
AI apps
Connect an AI tool such as Claude, and control AI apps in the workspace.
“Brief your assistant” (formerly the Learning Center) is a page of its own in the left menu, not a Settings tab.

How the interface is designed

STYD uses a split layout in key areas: a navigation or tree panel on the left, and the active content on the right.

Docs tree + content
Chat threads + conversation
AI Guide tree + inspector
Settings sections + configuration

Important interaction patterns

Select first, edit second
In tree-based pages, select an item on the left to display details on the right.
Use test actions
For sensitive actions like database connections, use the test button before saving.
Review generated information
AI-drafted descriptions can be reviewed and improved by users.
Use feedback tools
In Chat, feedback helps improve future answers and identify weak results.
