Workspace selector

The workspace selector lets you switch between workspaces and create new ones. It is the workspace name at the top of the left menu.

What a workspace controls

STYD is workspace-based. The selected workspace controls the data and settings currently available in the app.

Switch workspace

Select the workspace name at the top of the left menu

Choose the workspace you want to use

The app updates to the selected workspace context

Always check the selected workspace before creating connections or asking important questions.

Create a new workspace

Use a new workspace when you want to separate data, users, connections, or projects. There are limits on how many workspaces one account can own; the Create a workspace page lists them.

Open the selector and choose New workspace

Enter a workspace name

Create the workspace

The new workspace is added to the selector and selected

Edit workspace name

Owners and admins can change the name from the selector (Rename workspace). This helps keep your account organized when managing several clients, companies, or environments.

Workspace deletion

Workspaces cannot currently be deleted from the interface.

This prevents accidental loss of important workspace context such as connections, chats, members, and usage history.
