Free access and Starter

Starter is the entry-level plan: the same features as every plan, with 200 prompts per month. Prices are on the Pricing page.

Who it is for

Starter suits light, regular use: connecting Odoo, a PostgreSQL or a MySQL database, and asking a few questions a day.

What a prompt is

A prompt is one answered question. A question that gets an answer uses one prompt, even when the answer is “no information” or a refusal. A general question, advice or a draft counts like any other answer. A question that ends in an error, or in a setup message, uses none. Failed questions are refunded.

About free access

There is no free plan, but a new account starts with a free trial: 20 free prompts, with no time limit and no card needed. The free trial is given once per account and once per database, to a workspace that has never had a plan. It covers one Odoo connection and one database. It ends when the free prompts are used, or when about three times as many questions have been started, failed ones included. Without a plan, every feature stays open while the workspace has prompts: connections to Odoo, PostgreSQL and MySQL (one AI Guide setup included), members, API keys and top-up prompts. The Business Checkup is always free. Unused free prompts end when a plan starts. Every new workspace also includes fictional sample data you can ask questions about before you connect your own.

Connections and members

Members are unlimited, with or without a plan. Connections to Odoo, PostgreSQL and MySQL are unlimited too, with one safety limit: a workspace can hold up to 50 active connections. Archived connections and the sample companies do not count.

AI Guide setups

When you connect a PostgreSQL or MySQL database, STYD prepares it for questions with an AI Guide analysis. The first one is included while the workspace has a setup left. A workspace without a plan has 1, once. A plan adds more every month: see the Pricing page. An included setup runs on its own for a database of up to 3,000 columns. Otherwise STYD shows the price first, about 1 prompt per 500 columns (at least 1), and runs only after an owner or admin confirms. Odoo connections need no analysis.

Moving up when you need more

When you need more answers, the workspace owner can move to Business (600 prompts per month) or Team (2,000), or buy top-up prompts. See Billing & Limits for how plan changes work.
