Overview
Brief your assistant shows what STYD knows about your business: how it counts revenue, sales, overdue invoices, inactive customers and low stock for each data source, in the same words it uses under an answer.

Choose a data source at the top when your workspace has more than one. The page then lists, by topic, Sales and revenue, Invoices and payments, Customers and Stock, each definition STYD uses for that data source, and where it comes from:
A value your team chose, with the day it was set, for example “(your definition, set on Sep 30)”.
STYD’s standard definition, used until you choose another one.
When nothing has been set yet, the page says so, lists the standard definitions, and offers to start the setup (about 3 minutes).
Changing a definition
Review my setup opens the “Brief your assistant” setup from the start. Change next to a definition opens just that question, with its live effect on your figures; Save applies it.
Your business terms (SQL databases)
For a PostgreSQL or MySQL data source, the page shows Your business terms: a word your team uses and what it means, in plain words and in any language. When a question uses one of them, STYD follows its meaning. Terms belong to one data source; owners and admins add and remove them.
To confirm
STYD may find a definition to check, for example from your earlier setup or from your feedback in the chat. It appears under To confirm with where it comes from and its effect on your answers (before → after). You can Confirm it, Change it, or Ignore it. Nothing to confirm is used until you confirm it.
Who can do what
Review the setup, change definitions, and confirm or ignore what STYD found; for a SQL database, add and remove business terms.
Read the page, without changing anything. Business terms are shown to owners and admins only.
