AI Guide issues

If STYD seems unaware of some tables, or misreads what your data means, AI Guide (AI Guide) usually needs a quick review or refresh.

Symptoms

Tables missing from the AI Guide.

Table descriptions look stale or outdated.

Columns are not described correctly.

A business term is not understood yet.

Table visibility is not behaving as expected.

Common causes

The analysis has not run yet for this connection.
The database changed after the last analysis.
A table is hidden from STYD.
The read-only database user cannot see the table.
AI-drafted descriptions need a human review.
Business vocabulary needs an update in the AI Guide or Brief your assistant.

What to check

Run the analysis again if your schema changed. It costs prompts (about 1 for every 500 columns, at least 1) and the price is shown before you confirm.

Review and improve table and column descriptions.

Confirm the table is set to visible.

Confirm the read-only user can actually see the table in the database.

Review PII or sensitive flags where relevant.
