Odoo bridge issues

The Odoo Bridge connects STYD to Odoo and limits each member to their own areas and companies. When it does not work, the cause is usually setup or environment rather than your data.

Supported environments

The bridge is for Odoo.sh and on-premise Odoo, where it can be installed. Odoo Online does not allow custom modules: connect it with an Odoo API key instead. If Odoo blocks external access on your plan, we’ll tell you clearly.

Common causes

The base URL or token is incorrect.
The base URL is plain http or a private / local network address. Only a public HTTPS address is accepted.
The bridge module is not installed or not enabled.
A version mismatch between the module and your Odoo version.
The token was regenerated or the Bridge was turned off in Odoo, so Odoo rejects it.
The Odoo user's groups or companies limit what is visible.
A member is not mapped to an Odoo user, or the mapped user is no longer valid or has no company: that member gets no Odoo data. See Members who are not linked to Odoo.
The question is about CRM, Projects or another Odoo app that STYD does not read yet, or about a delivery or receipt status on Odoo 15. STYD says so instead of guessing. See what STYD reads today.
A firewall or Cloudflare rule blocks STYD’s server before the request reaches Odoo.

Without a working connection (bridge or API key), STYD cannot read Odoo: an Odoo question gets a short answer that says what to fix.

If your Odoo is behind a firewall

Allow STYD’s two addresses in your firewall, WAF or hosting rules: 109.123.235.222 (IPv4) and 2407:3640:2324:5796::1 (IPv6). In Cloudflare, add each as an Allow rule under Security → WAF → Tools → IP Access Rules. The Odoo connection guide has the steps.

An Odoo that is only on localhost or a private network (LAN, VPN) is not reachable from STYD Cloud, and there is no SSH tunnel option. A custom, private installation can reach it: see Custom AI.

What to check

Confirm your Odoo environment is supported.
Confirm the bridge module is installed and enabled in Odoo.
Confirm the base URL and token are correct, and that the URL is a public HTTPS address.
Confirm the Odoo user mapping, and that the mapped user has a company.
Re-sync the connection after changing users, groups or companies in Odoo.
If you connected the Odoo database directly, confirm that the read-only PostgreSQL connection works.
The Odoo section covers connection, installation, and security. Contact STYD from the support page for help with the Bridge setup or a review of your configuration.
